Service Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern all bookings made with Cape Town Wine Tours. By confirming a
booking, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms outlined below.
1. Booking and Payment
- Deposit Requirement: A 100% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to confirm your
reservation.
- Payment Methods: We accept secure payments via credit/debit card, bank transfer, and selected online
payment platforms.
- Booking Confirmation: Your booking is confirmed once payment has been received and a confirmation
email or digital voucher has been issued.
2. Cancellations and Refunds
- Cancellations by Client:
- Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled tour time will receive a 100% refund.
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled tour are non-refundable.
- No-shows will be charged the full amount of the tour.
- Cancellations by Cape Town Wine Tours:
- We reserve the right to cancel a tour due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to
extreme weather, natural disasters, safety concerns, or insufficient bookings.
- If we cancel, you will be offered a full refund or the option to reschedule.
3. Changes and Modifications
- Changes by Cape Town Wine Tours:
- We may make necessary changes to the itinerary for operational or safety reasons. In such cases, we will
make reasonable efforts to provide alternatives of equal value.
- Changes by Client:
- Requests to change booking details must be made in writing at least 24 hours in advance and are subject
to availability and potential additional charges.
4. Travel Insurance
- We strongly recommend that all guests obtain comprehensive travel insurance that covers cancellations,
medical expenses, theft, and unforeseen disruptions.
5. Liability and Assumption of Risk
- Acknowledgment of Risk: By booking a tour, you acknowledge that wine tours may involve certain risks,
including but not limited to travel, walking on uneven terrain, or the consumption of alcohol.
- Release of Liability: Cape Town Wine Tours, its owners, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any
loss, injury, damage, accident, delay, or inconvenience resulting from your participation.
- Limitation of Liability: Our liability shall not exceed the total amount paid for the tour.
6. Health, Safety & Guest Responsibility
- Fitness to Participate: It is your responsibility to ensure that you are physically fit and in good health to take
part in the tour.
- Medical Conditions: Please inform us in advance of any medical conditions, allergies, or special
requirements.
- Alcohol Consumption: Guests must be of legal drinking age (18+) to participate in wine tastings. Please
drink responsibly.
- Adherence to Safety Protocols: Guests are required to follow the instructions of our guides at all times.
7. Photography and Promotion
- Media Use: By participating, you grant Cape Town Wine Tours the right to use photographs or videos taken
during the tour for promotional and marketing purposes, unless you explicitly request otherwise in writing
prior to the tour.
8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
- These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
- In the event of a dispute, parties agree first to seek resolution through mediation before pursuing arbitration
or legal action.
9. Acceptance of Terms
By booking with Cape Town Wine Tours, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to
these Terms and Conditions.
